ADI & IBR: A Partnership Based on the Science of BehaviorADI is proud to acknowledge our newly-formed alliance with the Institutes For Behavior Resources, Inc (IBR), based on their dedication to and excellence in advancing the behavioral sciences field, across many lines of research, including behavioral economics and the interaction between behavior and physiological aspects of safety. They are experts at the effects of sleep and fatigue—and how behavioral strategies can reduce harm to those who work in high risk settings involving factors of fatigue.IBR is a non-profit organization in Baltimore, MD dedicated to research, education and service. It was founded in 1960 for the purpose of enhancing the growth of the behavioral sciences and their application to human affairs; conducting a wide range of research, demonstration, training, treatment, and service programs. IBR areas of focus and expertise include state-of-the-art behavior modeling, operational fatigue management research and application, and team performance assessment and maximization.Their Human Performance Center seeks to develop methods and procedures for evaluation of human performance that focus on individual, social, and organizational behavior. Methods include behavior analysis of individuals and teams in applications inside industries and specific corporations that want to ensure safe performance. They have built interactive fatigue monitoring and feedback devices based on research and testing across large groups. They use distributed interactive simulations and computer modeling of biological and behavioral processes that govern variations in human performance capability. From that, they build processes to ensure safer habits and more sustained patterns of behavior in high risk settings.www.ibrinc.org
